HEICS/HICS:
Hospital Emergency Incident Command System

The Hospital Emergency Incident Command System has been endorsed by JAHCO, AMA, CDC, and other agencies as the model incident command system for hospitals.  With 51 positions, how does a hospital know how to implement it effectively?  What position should be staffed?  And when?   Let us provide you with training tailored to fit your healthcare organization.

ICS:
I
NCIDENT COMMAND SYSTEM

We can provide your agency with both the IS-100 & IS-195 courses, Introduction to the Incident Command System,  and IS-200 Incident Command System, Basic course.

While many have taken these courses on-line, the learning experience is far from fulfilling.  Having a live instructor who has years of incident command experience strengthens the lessons.  Upon completion, all attendees will be given the FEMA final exam, and upon passing will receive a certificate of completion.

NIMS:
N
ATIONAL INCIDENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

This is the still the hottest topic in emergency management.  If your personnel are already ICS trained, you may wish to add this training to their credentials.  This course, which uses FEMA and proprietary materials, provides an introduction and overview of the NIMS system. Unlike the on-line course, we can explain how your ICS integrates into the NIMS system.  Those who pass the final exam will receive a FEMA certificate of completion.

TABLE-TOP/FUNCTIONAL EXERCISES

If you have completed your incident command training and wish to conduct a simulation using a table-top or functional exercise, we can develop the complete exercise package for you.  A detailed Master Sequence of Events List (MSEL), presentations, message inject cards, background data, and participant materials would be included in the package.  We can also administrate the program on site, if you wish, and provide a written post-mortem of the activity.

EMERGENCY PLANNING

For agencies just starting, or those needing to develop emergency plans, we can provide training on how to develop an effective emergency plan.  Using both FEMA and proprietary materials, we will prepare your staff to complete your Emergency Operations Plan - and make it NIMS compliant.
